What Are Interchangeable Shoe Straps?
Our Kiki shoes are designed with a unique velcro-compatible strap system. Instead of a fixed strap sewn permanently onto the shoe, the Kiki has a base shoe onto which any Buds Life strap can be clicked on and off in seconds.
Your child can start Monday with the Glitter strap, switch to Camo by Wednesday, and go full Floral for a birthday party on Saturday. Same pair of shoes, completely different look — each and every time.
Buds Life is the only kids shoe brand in India currently offering this kind of interchangeable strap customisation. There is no other brand in India doing this for children's shoes.
Why We Built This
Kids develop strong opinions about what they wear from a surprisingly young age. By 3–4 years old, most children have clear preferences — favourite colours, favourite patterns, things they want to wear and things they refuse to. Shoes are part of that self-expression.
At the same time, parents know that buying multiple pairs of shoes every season isn't realistic. Feet grow fast. Quality shoes aren't cheap. And most kids end up wearing the same pair every day regardless of what's in the cupboard.

Each strap is available in S, M, and L to fit all Kiki shoe sizes.
How to Use Them
The swap takes about five seconds. The strap attaches to the Kiki shoe via a secure velcro system — press it on, it locks in place. To swap, peel it back and click a new one on. Even young children can do it independently once they've seen it done once.
There's no sewing, no tools, no complicated mechanism. It just works.
